Oso Vineyard

Our Oso Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a true expression of its single-vineyard origin. Nestled between Sugarloaf and Howell Mountains in Napa Valley, on slopes rising up from Schwartz Creek, our family's Oso Vineyard yields Cabernet Sauvignon with intense varietal characteristics. These vines grow on beautiful stone-lined terraces, out of a rocky, porous soil whose high drainage stresses the vines and highly concentrates flavors in the grapes. Mild temperatures and afternoon breezes that blow straight down the vineyard rows maintain the fruit's freshness and vibrancy throughout the growing season.

Rutherford, where our family has 45 years of winegrowing experience, historically produces classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon fruit of excellent quality. Our Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon is a true expression of its origin, its grapes harvested from a single vineyard east of the Napa River in the alluvial fan of the Vaca Range. The valley floor's warm climate and deep, well-drained soils produce vigorous vines that receive more sun exposure than in other parts of the Napa Valley.
