Emblem Wines from Napa Valley

Our family has worked with vineyards in the Napa Valley from Carneros to Calistoga and almost everywhere in between. We've seen firsthand how the many differences in the valley's soil, sunlight, and temperature all play an integral part in developing unique expressions of terroir in Napa Valley wine.

Our goal with Emblem is to showcase two different but equally beautiful Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, one from the valley floor with the famous Rutherford dust and dark berry fruit, and one from rugged old vine hillside vineyards showing distinct red, mountain-fruit character. You can almost say these wines are brother and sister, and we rather like that analogy

In a recent blind-tasting, wine trade members and passionate consumers placed Emblem Rutherford and Emblem Oso Vineyard, Napa Valley single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings from the Michael Mondavi family over a selection of Bordeaux wines with an average price of nearly $500 per bottle.
